F you were in my shoes-or rather sitting here at my
desk-and the editor handed you Christian Herald as
it is today, wouldn't you whoop and hurrah-and get
busy selling subscriptions by hundreds and thousands?
Wouldn't you be tingling with enthusiasm that you can
offer subscribers such a big measure of value- those
beautiful full color covers, finest to be had on Biblical
subjects; those enjoyable stories and interesting articles
by such able writers as Bruce Barton, Margaret Sangster,
Seth Parker, Daniel A. Poling, Pearl Buck, Frank Mead,
Charles M. Sheldon; those valuable special features and
departments?
Wouldn't you want to spread the good news wherever
good magazines are read and appreciated-that there's a
