The University of Texas McDonald Observatory at
Mount Locke. The dome on the left houses the 107-
inch telescope, completed in 1969, while the smaller
dome houses the 82-inch Otto Struve reflector,
completed in 1939. Transient and permanent quarters
are below the domes.
