PINEDALE, WYOMING
The Big Little Town with Everything
Reached via U. S. 187, main route to Teton and Yellowstone
National Parks from U. S. 30 (new Interstate 80), Pinedale,
Wyoming is a recently discovered vacationists' paradise. The
rugged and primitive 294-million-acre Wind River Range in
Pinedale's very back yard with its myriad of peaks, glaciers,
streams, canyons, lakes (4,000 plus), forests and celestial
mountain meadows defies all attempts to picture it in words.
It harbors antelope, elk, moose, deer, bear, Big Horn sheep,
rainbow, cutthroat, brook, brown, mackinaw (to 35 pounds)
and the exotic Golden trout. Pinedale also boasts a theatre,
bowling alley, ski run, western rodeo and Annual Boat Classic.
