Louis Braille, a blind Frenchman born in 1809, at the
age of 15 developed the system of touch reading
which consists of embossed dots arranged in six-
space cells and known as BRAILLE. By selecting
one or several dots in characteristic position or
combination, 63 different characters can be formed.
Look for other cards with the Braille alphabet,
numbers, whole words and part-word signs and
punctuation.
