This picture typifies the manner in which
Utah is utilizing its natural resources and
is one of the many light, heat and power
generating stations situated throughout
the State. From this point heavy trans-
mission lines conduct the current to Salt
Lake City, Ogden and other Utah indust-
rial centers. Here is also shown one of
the intakes for irrigation projects which
have made Utah one of the foremost ir-
rigation states in the West.
