Snow covered Wasatch Range as seen from car windows. While not as high or rugged as the Rockies, the Wasatch Range is one of the most beautiful in western America, due principally to its graceful formation. But few peaks rise above the mountain range and the whole is a model of symmetry. The Weber River here shown, in one of its peaceful attitudes, is a little further on cascades over boulders and rocks in a canyon which it has carved for itself from that solid granite, barrier, the Wasatch Range. |
