  My dad was in the Pacific Theater during WWII and was wounded and sent to Sun Valley hospital to recover. He left Sun Valley and went back to the Pacific war in late 1944. He never mentioned his time in the Pacific, only the time he spent in Sun Valley. It was a short stint in "heaven" for him before returning back to the war. I want to visit Sun Valley someday soon and walk the same grounds where so many heroes of "The Greatest Generation" walked. God bless the USA
