Conducted by the Sisters of Mercy, offers a fully accredited high school program to girls residing in the Lakeside and adjoining districts. (Freshman classes accepted September 1952.) The curriculum includes academic, secretarial, and general courses. Speech, drama, and vocal and instrumental music are offered. Badminton, tennis, basketball, volleyball, horseback riding, archery, and folk dancing are included in physical education. The Christian Family Living Program, as outlined by the Commission on American Citizenship, "Guiding Growth in Christian Social Living," is the underlying theme of each course and aims to prepare the student for family and community life.
