The Vanderbilt University School of Medi-
cine and Hospital consists of a series of nine
buildings, brought together under one roof.
This group of adjoining units contains the lab-
oratories of the departments of the medical
school, lecture rooms, administrative offices, li-
brary, and all the various subdivisions of the
hospital, including the large department for
out-patients, and 200 beds. Further units will
be added as space is needed.
