WILLIAM PENN SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL – YORK
Erected in the second square of West College Avenue
in 1927 to house an enrollment of over 2000. An
annex was erected on the Beaver Street side in 1940
and an industrial training building was added on the
Pershing Avenue side in 1941. A separate music
hall was completed 1954 aside the shop building.
