CROSS OF PEACE (Air View) Located near Alto Pass in
southwestern Illinois on Route 127, III feet tall and built
of steel, porcelain and marble by contributions from people in
every state and from all walks of life and beliefs as a symbol
of their united faith.
It can be seen from 3 states. Memorials, including a landscaped,
perpetual-care garden around the cross, are available.
