This incline raised 10,000 carloads of material to build Diablo Dam-

The 1,200,000 horsepower Skagit River development of the Seattle
Municipal Light and Power System will supply the cheapest compar-
able power in the United States. The 1,200 square mile mountain basin
tributary is of unequaled scenic magnificence. Located in the Cascade
Mountains, 100 miles from Seattle and visited by upwards of 30,000
people yearly. A small charge is made to cover the excursion cost.
