Belmont College, coeducational junior col-
lege, is one of three accredited colleges
operated by the Tennessee Baptist Conven-
tion. In 1913 Belmont College (1890) and Ward
Seminary (1865) connsolidated, forming Ward-
Belmont School for Girls. In 1951 Baptist
buildings and grounds in the southern en-
virons of Nashville are one of the show
places of the city. This card shows the north
group of buildings as seen from Belmont Ave.
