First Congregational Church - sometimes known as the "Two Horned Church" because of its twin towers, houses the oldest congregation in Marietta, Ohio. The first Church, of fame construction, dedicated 1807, was destroyed by fire in 1905. In 1906 at the same spot, (318 Front St.), a new brick bld. of the same architectural design was erected. Only remnant used from the old church, is the bell in south tower of the new church.
