THE BEAUFORT ARSENAL - DEAUFORT, S. C.
Headquarters for the Beaufort Coast Artillery, which
was organized in 1776. Built of brick and tabby in
1795 and rebuilt in 1852 the arsenal now serves as a
public museum.
