No tracks! No ties! No trains! But the old depot
of the Las Vegas and Tonapah Railroad still
stands proudly today in the Nevada ghost town
of RHYOLITÉ near Death Valley. The depot is
one of the few buildings still intact in what in
1906 was a metropolis of the Southwest. The
depot houses a large collection of desert curios
and museum items of early Rhyolite.
