Additional Details:
The oldest part of the House, the story-and-a-half ell and the woodshed, was built in 1785 for Weathersfield's first "settled" Pastor, the Rev. Dan Foster. About 1825 the two story front was added. The House has served as a tavern, doctor's home, home of two generations of blacksmiths, post office, and private dwelling.
