An irresistible call from Expo '74's spectacular - an aerial view of
the rainbows created by the smashing white-water of the Spokane
River waterfall. An invitation from nature into the mystical world of
the great Indian Chiefs of yesterday. It was this thunderous sound
of the water that brought the Indian there. The sound as Peter Max
expresses it is warm, pure colors, deep bold images and a world of
dancing figures in the whimsical sprays and whirling pools. Peter
Max, the favorite artist of the Age of Aquarius brings you this in-
triguing wonderland of the great American Northwest in his stamp
design for Expo '74.
