TRAINING STATION. The U. S. Governmeny maintains
a training school for naval apprentices on the battleship
“New Hampshire'', anchored off Coaster's Harbor Island,
near Newport, where there are several buildings erected.
Here 400 American lads are prepared to enter the navy as
sailors on a man-of-war.
