On the banks of its crater is situ-
ated the Volcano House and near by
are the sulphur baths from natural
vapor cracks. The circumference of
the crater 7.85 miles and encloses an
area of 2650 acres. A splendid auto-
mobile road goes to the brink of the
crater.
