UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI
COLUMBIA, MISSOURI
The University of Missouri's $13,600,000
Medical Center, including the Residence Hall
for Nurses, the eight-story Teaching Hospital,
and the Medical Sciences Building.
The Center was occupied in the fall of
1956, by the re-established four-year School
of Medicine, and medical students, teachers,
doctors, nurses, patients, and administrators
were transferred to the new Medical Center.
The Teaching Hospital is of the latest de-
sign and has modern equipment for its many
special laboratories and its 441 beds. The
Medical Sciences Building is connected with
the Hospital by a corridor, which contains
an auditorium. The Nurses' Residence Hall
has rooms for 104 nurses.
