This is a state owned and operated hospital lo-
cated on Highway 40, cost approximately $900,-
000.00, devoted exclusively to the treatment of
indigent citizens of Missouri suffering from
cancer and allied diseases. The construction and
operation of the hospital is under the direct
control of a Cancer Commission, consisting of
four members, appointed by the Governor.
