Ponca City's public school system includes
senior high school, junior high school, eight ele-
mentary schools and a special school. A military
academy, a parochial school and a business college
round out the educational system. Every school has
an auditorium, a gymnasium and a playground.
More than three-fourths of the teachers have Masters
Degrees. The industrial educational school at senior
high provides practical education in various crafts for
school-age children and adults, both day and night
classes.
