JUICY, TENDER PINEAPPLE FROM THE PRIME CUT
Before a pineapple field is planted, strips of
black plastic mulch are laid down through which
the slips or suckers are planted. At the same
time, this machine places fertilizer and fumigant
beneath the mulch which confines the fumigant,
and retards the growth of weeds.
