The Piazza of Spagna.
The Piazza di Spagna is so called from the Palazzo di Spagna,
in the south part of the west side, which has been the Spanish
Embassy to the Curia since the seventeenth century. The piazza
is bright and interesting, and a point to which most strangers
merge on account of its handsome hotels and attractive shops.
