B'NAI DAVID SYNAGOGUE

Part of a complex of buildings, this synagogue is
designed so the four points of the arches of the
outer structure provide an allusion to the "four
horns" of the altar of the original sanctuary in
Jerusalem. Within the shadow of the arches, a
glowing circlet of stained glass surrounds the sanctu-
ary. The colors bridge symbolically the path from
Earth to Heaven.
