Aemelia Earhart Stadium was
named after
Aemelia Earhart, famous aviatrix, who was born
in Atchison and lived here during her child-
hood. The new stadium has a regulation foot-
ball field with a seating capacity of 3500. It
has a quarter-mile track with a 220 yd. straight- z
away track. There is a regulation baseball field, S
a football practise field and a parking space for
300 cars.
