influence especially in San Francisco's China-
town. Myriads of soft colored lights cast their
glow and shadows over the animated action
of the streets where visitors, Chinese children
and adults of this Oriental quarter of ten
thousand come and go. A constant activity
seems to prevail in and out of shops, bazaars,
theatres, restaurants, late into the night.
