Huge Bagnell Dam-across the Osage River
created the Lake of the Ozarks. This beau-
tiful lake has a scenic shore line of 1,372 5
miles. It is 130 miles long and covers an area
of 65,000 acres. Located in Central Missouri, a
42 miles south of Jefierson City, about half-
way between St. Louis and Kansas City, 430 -
miles from Chicago on U. S. 54.
