ALAMO PLAZA. All of Alamo: Plaza is
historic. The walls of the Alamo Mission in
olden times entirely surrounding it. The Mexi-
can General Santa Anna demolished these walls
in their assault on the Alamo in 1836. Facing
this Plaza is the Alamo, Post Office, Opera
House and the principal Hotel and it also con-
tains a small but beautiful Park.
