HOUSTON, TEXAS
This modern $6,000,000 skyscraper will serve as head-
quarters for operations of The Prudential Insurance Com-
pany of America in Texas, Oklahoma, Missouri, Kansas,
Louisiana, Mississippi and Arkansas. Work on the building,
which will be located in Houston, is expected to begin in
October and it is expected to be in operation by fall of
1951. Approximately 1,000 persons will be employed in
the Southwestern Home Office.
