A unique feature of this port of entry is that boats
(on the viewable Kootenai River) go through
customs here. Aero planes also check through here
by taxiing up on the grass air strip on the near
side of the river. Bonners Ferry, Idaho, and Creston,
B.C. are adjacent towns. The Canadian Customs is
a half mile beyond this viewpoint.
