Southwest Missouri State University, shown in this aerial view
of the beautiful 125 acre tree covered campus, is located in the
south central residential district of Springfield. A multipurpose
institution with four undergraduate schools and one graduate
school, it is the largest of Missouri's state universities with an
enrollment of more than 15,000 students. The University Plaza
area; with hotels, trade center, condominiums and office tow-
ers, is visible in the upper right corner of photo.
