DARIEN INDIANS-Panama
Little is known of the primitive Darien Indians who in-
habit the dense jungle from Panama's San Miguel Gulf to
the Columbian border as they are very hostile to the out-
side world. Their homes located along the banks of their
river highways are crude platforms on stilts roofed with
palm thatch and their clothes, sarong and loin cloth.
