VAN ZILE HALL is one of three dormitories
for Kansas State College Women, which over-
look the campus from the Northeast. The hall,
completed in 1926, provides accommodations
for 130 young women who live under almost
ideal conditions. Since World War II, two
flanking dormitories, Northwest and South-
east, have been built. Each provides housing
for 225 women. Van Zile Hall is named for
Mrs. Mary P. Van Zile, who was Dean of
Women at Kansas State from 1908 to 1940.
