The Cardinal Farley Club for Sol-
diers and Sailors of New York opened
its doors to our boys of the Army and
Navy on November 1, 1918, under the
general management of Mr. Joseph J.
O'Donohue, Jr., as Chairman assisted
by the League of Catholic Women. This
Club has entertained more than 1,500
men per day, having every facility to
make the boys happy. Billiards, pool,
bowling alleys, gymnasium, barber
shop, shower baths, hot and cold water,
large spacious dining room, seating 200
persons, 200 beds for sleeping accom-
modations, large library, reading and
writing rooms. The Club is centrally
located at 15-19 East 30th Street, be-
tween Madison and Fifth Avenues, in
the heart of the City. The Club is open
from 5 A. M. to 1 A. M.
