conditions. Established in 1811, located on
the beautiful Ohio River. South of the Mason
Dixon Line, it is neither Northern or Southern
in customs or climate.
Blennerhassett Island, near Parkersburg, is
well known because Aaron Burr visited here
after his duel with Alexander Hamilton.
