WASHINGTON RESIDENCE HALLS—War Housing
with complete community service is provided for
approximately fifteen thousand government
women in-migrant war workers. Projects over-
looking the Potomac and Anacostia rivers and
at Suitland, Maryland, include cafeterias, infirm-
aries, service shops, beauty shops, canteens and
recreational facilities. Operations are under the
Public Buildings Administration for the Federal
Public Housing Authority.
