YOUNG'S HOTEL, 1/4 mile South of U. S. 224
on Ohio 93. Young's Hotel is Akron's oldest
restaurant, serving since 1850. Remaining in
the same family. Canal boats and later steam
launches and horse and carriage brought patrons
before automobiles. Much of the food is grown
on the family farm. Most of the old recipes of
Grandmother Young are still used.
