Additional Details:
The two rare weeping birch trees in front are noted for their symmetry. Box Elder County is the largest in Utah, and is nearly as large as the state of Massachusetts. It extends west to the Nevada line. It is an agricultural county, raising an abundance of wheat, sugar beets, fruits and vegetables. Many thousands of sheep and cattle are shipped from here annually. On the second floor of the court house is a Daughters of the Pioneers Relic Hall. The court house was the first public building erected in the county, begun in 1855.
