St. Paul's City Hall and Court House is
unique in design and architecture, contains within
its walls offices and court rooms finished in the
most beautiful woods obtained from all parts of
the world. Indian Statue: The base is eight
feet high, and composed of a number of crouch-
ing Indians smoking their pipes of peace. As
the smoke rolls upward there comes to them the
vision of an Indian God who rises majestically
some 36 feet higher; one hand holds a peace
pipe and the other is extended in a gesture of
friendliness, symbolic of the thought that out
of conference and understanding comes the hope
of Peace of the world.
