LOURDES GROTTO
Located on Route U. S. 224 in the beautiful
village of St. Joseph, only 7 miles from Akron's
eastern limits. It is the only replica of the world
famous Grotto at Lourdes in France, and is vis-
ited by tourists in great numbers. Services are
held here every Sunday afternoon from May to
November. The first Catholic Parochial School
founded in the State of Ohio was originally
located on what is now known as the old part
of the cemetery directly adjacent to the grounds.
