The Institute is an independent professional school
of music established in 1920 for the training of
young people of all ages. Diploma and degree
courses are offered in piano, voice, violin, orchestral
instruments, theory, composition, music history,
musicology, and church music. Bachelor of Science
in Music Education is offered through Western
Reserve University.
