SPANISH ARCHITECTURE rising out of
Missouri soil brings exclamations from trave-
lers to Kansas City's Country Club Plaza
located five miles south of the downtown
area. Developed by J. C. Nichols, dean of
American City Builders, the "Plaza" is a
gateway to his large residential areas and
has 40 acres of shops all done in Spanish
motif. Tiles and picture plaques are all im-
ported direct from Mexico.
