At every part of its miles of roadway
the Paseo, extending from the boule-
vards of the north to the cross-town
boulevards of the southern part of the
city, reveals new and beautiful bits of
scenery. A good part of the way it is
about 200 feet wide, with separate road-
ways for north- and south-bound
traffic. Between these roads are gar-
dens, flowers, shrubs, shaded walks,
breathing spots, lakes, tennis courts,
fields for athletic sports and a public
bath house. The roadway is oiled
macadam, silent, in perfect condition
always.
