This center offers to the tourist up-to-date accommoda-
tions including a modern Cafeteria, Drug Store, Barber
Shop, Post Office, and many other accommodations. Fon-
tana Village is named after an Italian naturalist and
geologist, Felecia Fontain, who explored the mineral
wealth of this region. The Village is 1800 ft. above sea
level and is surrounded by mountains which rise another
1500 feet. Recreation facilities are for all ages and in-
clude fishing, motor boating, horseback riding, mountain
climbing, tennis, miniature golf, softball, dancing, and
many others.
