A Baptist institution founded in 1842, Howard
College moved to an entirely new campus in
1957. Although primarily a liberal arts col-
lege, Howard is strong in the sciences, and
has an outstanding Division of Pharmacy.
Howard has a full program of religious, cul-
tural and recreational interests for the stu-
dents and competes in six intercollegiate
sports.
