The new main office of National Bank of Detroit, which is
devoted exclusively to banking, is a striking addition to the
Detroit skyline. This modern building, of contemporary design
and 14 stories high, is finished in white marble and stainless
steel. The alternating pattern of the windows, with their panels
of Royal Umber color, forms an interesting and unusual tapestry
effect. National Bank of Detroit is Michigan's largest bank.
