The six members of the Wyandotte Constitutional Conven-
tion who were living at the time of the semi-centennial anni-
versary held in Kansas City, Kansas, October 18, 1909. John
T. Burris of Olathe, Robert Cole Foster of Dennison, Texas,
and Samuel E. Hoffman of St. Louis, Me., were in attend-
ance; while Benj. F. Simpson of Paola, C. B. McClelland of
Oskaloosa, Kansas, and Samuel Dexter Houston of Salina,
Kansas, were unable to be present. Mr. Houston's age is 91.
