A traveler can provide himself with almost every
conceivable necessity within the walls of the Union
Station in Kansas City. Among other conveniences
is ad rug store, complete in every detail. The fixtures
and cases are of American black walnut, reaching
half way from the floor. From that point the deco-
rations fade from a soft brown to the ivory tint of the
ceiling. The soda fountain is of marble with German
silver fittings. Fred Harvey operates the drug store.
